If you're a fan of
HBO's Game of Thrones it's time to get excited for season three of the highly-acclaimed fantasy series, even if the premiere is still months away.

These teaser billboards, small and large, have sprung up all over
L.A. to herald the forthcoming third season of the TV adaptation of
George R. R. Martin's best-selling novels.

Even though the show's name isn't mentioned on this stark, monochromatic creative you instantly know what these billboards are for with the use of the three swords in the zero resembling the typeface previously used for
Game of Thrones O's.

HBO is always great at teasing its big shows, so just as you can guarantee there'll be many new characters, fresh intrigue and scheming, plus even more twists and turns in the new episodes, there's bound to be more billboard creatives to follow to promote the third season proper in the
New Year.

The super-sized billboard was snapped towering over
L.A.'s Sunset Strip, plus the other landscape ads were spotted along
Sunset Boulevard, La Brea Avenue and more on November 23, 2012.
If this foreboding ad has tickled your taste buds, be sure to also check out these
Game of Thrones season one billboards and season two billboards.
It's almost here. The untitled first episode airs on April 14, 2019 and you can watch the entire Game of Thrones season 8 on Roku easily.
