Novak Djokovic advanced to the final of the 2011 Rogers Cup in Montreal, where Jo-Wilfried Tsonga retired from their semi-final match 6-4, 3-0 in an injury to his right arm.
Nine straight to start the match, Djokovic broke Tsonga is in his fourth break point to take the first 39 minutes, winning 14 15 in his first service points.
He continued to serve in the second set, and will not face a break point in shorter sessions.
Djokovic will play against Mardy Fish, 6-3 Janko Tipsarevic of a player, 6-4.
Fish won 11 of their last 12 games, winning in Atlanta last month and reached the last two weeks in Los Angeles. He is trying to become the first American to win the Rogers Cup and Andy Roddick in 2003.
