Daily Billboard can't decide what's more unsettling, that they decided to remake the classic 1987 Beauty & The Beast TV series, or that they consider Jay Ryan a 'Beast' because he has a scar and yellow eyes.
You can probably blame the likes of Twilight and True Blood for making those traditionally considered monsters, like vampires and werewolves, into these bright young attractive things to appeal to a younger demographic.In the original series, Ron Perlman's 'Vincent' really did look like a man-beast all the time (thanks to ground-breaking make-up effects) and even though he may have resembled a lion, he still had a heart of a kitten.
Taking Linda Hamilton's place as 'Beauty' is Kristin Kreuk and Daily Billboard is sure that The CW will be hoping to capture some of the same on screen chemistry that the original couple shared.With all that being said, you can't deny this beautiful and beastly pair look great in mono and these billboards for the new show were snapped along 3rd Street and La Brea Avenue on September 6, 2012.
